The young protagonists from Elisabeth Hasselbeck's Flashlight Night return in a new adventure. This time they visit an art museum and reflect on the techniques, ideas, and inspiration painters such as van Gogh, Monet, O'Keeffe, and Hokusai used to produce their masterpieces. Hasselbeck's rhyming text connects the dots (or dot-dot-dots, in the case of master of pointilism Georges Seurat) between the artists' God-given creativity and skill and those used by God himself to lovingly create each of his children. On the last page of the book, kids will discover their own reflection in an inset mirror surrounded by an illustrated frame and text announcing that they are God's masterpiece!
